{"id":1056,"date":"2022-06-30T17:31:54","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T14:31:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vet.gov.ua\/eng\/?page_id=1056"},"modified":"2022-06-30T17:32:02","modified_gmt":"2022-06-30T14:32:02","slug":"research-immunological-department","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vet.gov.ua\/eng\/about-us-2\/departments\/research-immunological-department\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Immunological Department"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Head<\/strong> <strong>of<\/strong> <strong>Department<\/strong> \u2013 Mrs. Halyna ALIEKSEIEVA, PhD, Senior scientist<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tel<\/strong>: (044)377-53-90<\/p>\n<p><strong>e-mail<\/strong>: <a href=\"mailto:ser@vetlabresearch.gov.ua\">ser@vetlabresearch.gov.ua<\/a>; <a href=\"mailto:serolog@i.ua\">serolog@i.ua<\/a>;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Department activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timely diagnosis of infectious animal diseases of bacterial and viral etiology;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring studies according to the &#8220;Plan of anti-epizootic measures for the prevention of major infectious and parasitic diseases of animals in Ukraine&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting arbitration research.<\/li>\n<li>Scientific and methodical work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case of disputes over the of laboratory diagnosis results on bovine leukosis in accordance with the &#8220;Instruction for prevention and rehabilitation of cattle from leukosis&#8221; \u211612\/14703, at the request of the owner of animals the Unit conducts arbitration following the approach:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sampling is carried out on a commission basis with the participation of SSUFSCP specialists, as evidenced by the act of commission selection;<\/li>\n<li>Cover letter with a clear description and inventory number of the animal, with the original number and seal;<\/li>\n<li>Blood sample must be sealed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Following animal diseases are diagnosed in the Department<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>leptospirosis \u2013 RMA for 9 and 17 diagnostic leptospirosis strains;<\/li>\n<li>brucellosis \u2013 Rose-bengal, complement fixation test (CFT), RA, ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>leukosis \u2013 immunofluorescence reaction, ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>Equine infectious anaemia (EIA) \u2013 Diffuse precipitation reaction;<\/li>\n<li>glanders \u2013 CFT;<\/li>\n<li>dourine \u2013 CFT;<\/li>\n<li>arteritis viral \u2013 ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>rhinopneumonitis \u2013 ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>Ram infectious Epididymitis \u2013 prolonged complement fixation test, ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>Listeriosis \u2013 CFT;<\/li>\n<li>paratuberculosis \u2013 CFT, ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>cattle neosporisis \u2013 ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>cattle mycoplasmosis \u2013 ELISA;<\/li>\n<li>chlamydiosis, toxoplasmosis, mycoplasmosis of dogs and cats \u2013 ELISA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Department is accredited as a provider of proficiency testing in accordance with <strong>DSTU EN ISO \/ IEC 17043: 2017<\/strong>. It is engaged in the organization and carrying out of interlaboratory comparative tests on profficiency qualification &#8220;VET-TEST&#8221; on the above-stated indicators.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scientific and methodical work:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main directions of scientific and practical work of the Department are carried out in accordance with the &#8220;Monitoring of animal brucellosis in Ukraine and world.
